| A view of the pistes at the top of La Toviere |
This is a close-up of the other side of the valley from the cam, at the top of La Toviere. You can make out the Lavachet (crossing left to right) and Aeroski (right to left) lifts coming up from Tignes, and the main pistes at the top are Parquerettes and Crocus which become the black Trolles run to return to resort (there are other pistes back to resort off-picture for the less brave!).
The high altitude of this camera means that it can become obstructed by snow and cloud some of the time. If this is the case then please do check back later, as the view is superb.

We like the combination of seeing the pistes and people scooting passed in this shot, with Tignes Le Lac in the background. You can really get an idea of the conditions back into resort from this.

| A zoom onto the pistes on the glacier in Tignes |

This is a high altitude zoom on to the pistes of the Grande Motte which provide excellent snow conditions in the winter and host the skiing and race training areas during the summer and autumn. The Grande Motte cable-car runs through the centre of the shot, sometimes we capture it in the image... most times we don't!!

| Europe's highest pisted skiing |
Probably one of our favourite views anywhere, all that snow - just makes you want to dive through the screen and get some! Home to the highest pistes in Europe the snow here is unlike any other - no not all snow is the same. In summer this is where the summer skiing takes place, with race-training and early season technique and instructor courses also being held here.

| A view of Val Claret at the foot of Double M piste |

Convenience skiing at its finest - make sure you sleep with your skis on so that you can get out of bed and head straight off in the morning! Unless you are still apres-skiing in which case don't take them off at the bar!! If there is grey splodge in the middle (Val Claret!) surrounded by lots of white (the snow) - your in for a great time. Also open in summer...

| Check out the snow! |

Its funny really - in real-life this shot represents some excellent off-piste conditions and one of Tignes best play areas. The image, with its spectacular back-drop of the famous landmark La Grande-Casse, lets you see the level of snow-cover. During the summer - bring your mountain-bike, you'll be grinning for days!

| A panoramic view of the Tignes ski area |
Superb panoramic views over the expansive Tignes ski area and Espace Killy. The camera is situated at the Alpage restaurant with its massive sun terrace, part of which is a self-service and the other a finer dining at altitude experience, called Lo Soli - on the left of the picture. The lift on the left is the Chaudannes chair.
